The
Rugby Union Club is the official supporters' club of the Hong
Kong Rugby Football Union and is one of its longest serving
Member Clubs. The aim of the club is to provide information
on rugby in Hong Kong to non-playing rugby people who wish to
be kept up to date with what is happening with other member
clubs, the rugby community and Hong Kong rugby in general. Membership
will ensure that the HKRFU's monthly publication "Rugby
Talk" is mailed directly.
The membership of the Rugby Union Club is made up of local rugby followers and many previous residents of Hong Kong who are now living in other parts of the world and local supporters.
Following the Annual General Meeting of the Rugby Union Club held in June 2004, the Committee has reviewed the current membership fees for members. With effect from 1st July 2004 the annual subscriptions for existing members, who have not yet renewed their membership for the year ending 31st December 2004, will increase from HK$200 to HK$250.
New applicants will be required to pay a joining fee of HK$250 together with the annual subscriptions of HK$250, at the same time. Memberships run from the 1st January through to end of December each year.
Please be aware that due to the overwhelming response of membership applications, tickets for the Rugby World Cup Sevens 2005 are no longer available for new members.
If you wish to join the Club then just complete the online form and send it to the HKRFU office. If you have any queries regarding the Club then please contact its Secretary beth.coalter@hkrugby.com.
