| The
HKRFU is committed to the concept of "Hong Kong Rugby -
A Game for All". Coaches and coaching will play an integral
role in the actualisation of this target. The coaching and development
staff, at the HKRFU, are aware of the need to ensure that sufficient
coaches, of the required ability, are available to achieve this
goal.
The aim,
in this context is twofold:
- To
increase the number of coaches, at all levels and in all
of the game's formats, through recruitment and coaching
education programmes.
- To
develop further the quality of existing coaches by making
available courses both in Hong Kong and other rugby centres.
By putting
in place an effective coaching structure we can help to ensure
a successful future for rugby in Hong Kong.
This section
will assist us in our aim by creating a vehicle through which
information and advice can be disseminated and eventually
by providing a forum for discussion among the coaching fraternity.
